Reciprocal relation of absolute and conditional (Sufism)

Description

There is no absolute without that conditioned by it, nothing conditional without the absolute; they have a reciprocal relationship. But there is unilateral dependence - the conditional depends on the absolute but not the absolute on the conditional. Further, the conditioned with which the absolute is linked are interchangeable but all refer to the absolute, with which nothing can be interchanged. The absolute is beyond the conditioned, depending upon them only to exercise sovereignty.

Context

The twenty first illumination of Jami.
