Psychic inspiration (Psychism)

  • Inspired medium
  • Inspirational art
  • Inspirational speaking
  • Inspirational writing
  • Inspirational thought

Description

Either consciously, or wholly or partially in a trance, the individual carries out some creative activity of which he or she is not normally capable or at a higher level than normal. This may be artistic, speaking or writing. The medium may plan the work which is then carried out while in a light trance under instruction from another intelligence; or the medium may be in a deep trance and not be conscious at all of what is happening, merely acting as an instrument. Sometimes the different styles make it appear that several different intelligences have been involved in the activity. In the case of speaking or writing, words may be jumbled, illegible or mis-spelled as information arises too fast to be interpreted. In the case of thought, mind impressions seem to bypass the belief system and information which could not have been known to the individual sometimes flows so fast that, again, it is too rapid for the brain to process coherently. Information gained is frequently philanthropic and intended for the benefit of mankind.
