Plane of reality (Lila)

In a state of samadhi, of pure bliss, the player becomes realized. He is sat-chit-ananda – knowledge, consciousness and bliss. There is harmony as the forces of the cosmos are balanced. Although there are still snakes ahead which can lead back into the game through doubt or laziness, right karma will mean attainment of the goal.

The 59th state or square on the board of Lila, the game of knowledge, appearing in the seventh row. This is the seventh of eight lokas represented on the spine of the board and marking a stage in the development of the individual's consciousness. It is the last of seven representing a psychic centre or chakra on the spine of the human body, a level of psychic evolution. An eighth loka lies beyond the chakras. Each loka is defined by the nature of the matter of which it is composed. The eight other states in the same row may be considered as special regions within the loka.
