Perennial philosophy
Description
According to A Huxley, perennial philosophy comprises the highest common factor of all theologies, that which recognizes divine reality in the mind and in what is substantial to the senses; and which is found to be similar to, or one with, the soul. It is what was and is known to comtemplatives and mystics of every religion, the "eternally complete consciousness", the basis of the material world actualized in particular individuals in every age of mankind through annihilation of the individual ego and awareness of the unity of all, within and without.
