Oneroid states

As with delirium, the chief characteristic of these states is their dream-like quality. Here, however, the content is connected, clear and consistent. The individual's whole attention and interest is held and the state may persist for weeks. The cause may be toxic poisoning or an early phase of schizophrenia.
