Negative hallucination
Description
As opposed to visual hallucination, where the person sees something that is not there, in negative hallucination he or she does not see something that is there. Unlike a visual hallucination, where the person behaves as though the hallucination is really there, someone with a negative hallucination does not, for example, attempt to walk through someone he cannot see.
