Near death entering the light

The experiencer enters a transcendental environment of great beauty; he may meet with dead loved ones (or, in a religious framework, Jesus or Krishna) who intimate that he must return to earth as his purpose has not been fulfilled or his family or dependents still need him. This may be experienced as a door, a river or a boundary which he is not allowed to cross.

The final stage in the process referred to as near death experience.
