Nada yoga (Yoga)

Related to mantra yoga, in that consciousness is transformed through the vehicle of sound and ascends through various stages until the universe is perceived as filled with sound – pasyanti – and Brahman is known as sound. This is related to the concept of the universe being spoken into existence through the mystical nada sound of which the audible manifestation is Om. Closely related to shabd yoga, which is the Sikh version.
