Modes of awareness associated with use of phencyclidine and similar drugs

Small doses lead to mild euphoria, with the sensation of floating, and numbness. There may be hallucinations and paranoid ideation, possibly leading to suicide. After-effects include depression, anxiety and irritability. Larger doses may lead to coma or convulsions.
