Life-style

Description

The relationship between material and spiritual aspects; social and individual aspects; the balance of work, pastimes and leisure; and the type of relationships a person has within and outside the family - all these go towards defining an individual's life-style, the life he or she leads outside the working environment. Such a life-style will depend heavily on the mode-of-life and standard-of-living of an individual's family or community. In life-styles of international communities or socialist countries where, respectively, national and class distinctions are diminished, individual needs and tastes are not necessarily brought to a common level and specific characteristics are retained.
