Knowledge (Buddhism)

Description

Knowledge refers to an awareness of things as they are, the disquieting and unpleasant as well as the inspiring and pleasant. According to Buddha, since birth, death, suffering, woe, lamentation and despair exist, one should follow a teaching which leads to the destruction of these things, not first demanding to know the answer to unprofitable questions such as whether or not the world is eternal.
