Journeying within transcendence - from discussion to decision
Description
Between full rejection or full acceptance of Jesus there are a number of intermediate positions. The process of decision-making may be avoidance, a refusal to face up to what one really feels, thinks or wants, or an unwillingness to trust or risk one's way or truth. Or it may be that, after ridding one's self of deception and delusion, one looks into the darkness and decides in the light. The very process of making a choice, despite the distress it causes, is then the chance to be blessed.
Context
The ninth section of St John's Gospel, Chapter VII 1 to VIII 58, is related to a stage in the spiritual journey of the individual.
