Description

Integral yoga is primarily concerned with developing the downflow of creative, inspirational energies from the supramental centres of an individual's being, with the goal of complete self-integration. It is a modern form of yoga derived from many of the traditional systems practised in India, incorporating the truth in each while maintaining a balance between the attributes emphasized. Rather than freedom from nature and society, integral yoga looks for emancipation by transforming the bonds of attachment to become instruments of spiritual development. It sees no separation between body and spirit, but rather discovers psychic integration through intelligent fulfilment of instinctual desires. In this way the individual finds a source of psychic energy available to him.
