Innocent cognition
- Suchness
- Sonomama (Japanese)
Description
When something is viewed as the only thing there is, itself in its surroundings, the whole is accepted as such. It is related to that innocence before the fall when, not having eaten of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, there is no intellectualizing into separate categories. By achieving unitive consciousness it is said that this primal innocence may be recaptured.
