Human transformation (ICA)

Description

This is experienced as the joy and pain of creating a way of life for all of creation as God's co-worker; when, having surrendered the need to control history or to simply experience events, one accepts being directed by the eternal and the immediate at the same time. It may be compared to Jacob who, having wrestled with the angel all night, both received a blessing and was wounded for life.

Context

In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of knowing and doing intensified in one's life (the life of being) the fourth formal aspect is the experience of transparent presence or the experience of effulgence. At the third phenomenological level this occurs when a person disciplines his life to be continually related to the experience of nothingness.
