Honouring the mystery (ICA)

Description

This is the awareness that all one does is a reflection of God's creation; when one knows that the mystery is present in every situation, and that the situation is a part of the mystery's intentional creation. An example in the Old Testament is when Job says "The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord".

Context

In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of articulating the word about life (the life of knowing) the fourth formal aspect is the experience of the final nothing of life or the glorious mystery of life. At the fourth phenomenological level, this occurs when one recognizes the humiliation of standing before the final mystery of life in every moment.
