Higher unconscious (Psychosynthesis)

According to R Assagioli the "higher" part of the mind whose contents are not accessible at will, is the "unconscious" super-conscious. It is the source of higher cognition and higher emotion, where intuition, inspiration, altruism, deeper love, genius and the higher psychic functions and spiritual energies are centred.
