Haqiqa (Sufism)

The mystical journey to God has been described in three main stages in which the life of the Prophet is imitated and his sayings observed. If shari'a is the word and tariqa the action, haqiqa is the inward state. The soul is illuminated and, by God's grace, the seeker sees the vision of God and experiences knowledge of God.
