Growth of consciousness

Description

This has been postulated as the development from the egocentricity experienced in childhood, to perspectivism as the child learns to distinguish between an event and his own and others' points-of-view related to that event. There is a mutually dependent relationship between the abstract implications developed through everyday experience and the learning of abstract ideas (as in science education at school) which is then used in concrete experience.
