Derealization

Description

The environment appears to have changed in such a way that reality, the whole world, has changed, with possible feelings of imminent catastrophe. It may be that everything appears flat and lacking in significance. The quality of perception is such that the reality of what is perceived is not convincing. When derealization occurs in conjunction with depersonalization then everything appears unreal, including the individual experiencing it himself.
