Delusions of guilt
Description
Real or imagined sins, whether trivial or great, lead a depressive individual to believe he is worthless and will receive eternal punishment. Although convinced that he deserves the punishment he is to receive, the individual may fear it will also be inflicted upon his family. He may believe he is already dead, that his mind and body no longer exist, even that everyone around him is dead or that the world has stopped.
