Delusions of grandeur

Description

The individual is convinced that his abilities, achievements and status are exaggeratedly superior to what is in fact the case. In extreme, psychotic, cases the individual may believe he is some prominent historical or current figure. This belief may be reinforced by hallucinatory voices.
