Defender of deeps (ICA)

This is experienced as the decision to be a demonstration of profound living which will allow others to experience the profundity of their own lives; when a person surrenders his need for a rich spirit life in order to lead others. It may be compared to the guru who does not go to the profound centre of life because his task is to enable others to find it, as in the Buddha's return from enlightenment to service.

In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of knowing one's disengagement (the life of poverty) the fourth formal aspect is the experience of spiritual denial or sacrificial offering. At the fourth phenomenological level, this occurs when one is filled with the power of requiring nothing from any situation.
