Danger

Danger is an elusive experience, partly engendered by the environment and partly by the person experiencing it. The experience may be enjoyed by some because of the risks. These can cause a feeling of arousal and a sense of superiority that comes from acting in a riskier manner than others. Hardship and danger may then appear attractive in their own right.
