Concerned judge (ICA)
Description
This is experienced as a voice within, which points out that one has really done an inhuman thing and asks what one is going to do about it. It occurs when a person is called to account for his actions and cannot escape the voice of accountability, as in Charles Dickens' story "A Christmas Carol", when Scrooge first encounters the ghosts and they point out to him how destructive all of his relationships have been.
Context
In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of knowing one's internal sociality (the life of meditation) the second formal aspect is the experience of being called to accountability by one's interior priors. At the second phenomenological level, this occurs when a person finds his selfhood audited by that which commands his attention.
