Complete awareness (Buddhism)

  • Gold pill (Taoism)
  • Absolute (Confucianism)
  • Calm stability

Description

The absolute is movement and stillness without beginning. The infinite absolute is the limit of the unlimited. Calm and stable, as yet unaffected by things, the human mind is merged in the celestial design - the subtlety of the absolute. Once affected by things, there is partiality, change of the absolute. In the calm and stable state and careful of attention the celestial design is always clear, there is unobscured open awareness, autonomy in action and one can deal with all that arises. The practice of calm stability, when mature, gives rise to the spontaneous true restoration of the infinite. The subtle responsive function of the absolute is clear, the design of the universe and of all things is complete in one's self.
