Clinging (Hinduism)
- Sanga
Description
This is delight in and clinging to a desired object that has been attained. The excess of delight in the object means its embracement, desire for continually enjoying it even after it has been attained. The self wrongly identifies itself with an object which is of the nature of not-self and with which the mind is deeply engrossed due to egoism. From clinging springs desire.
