Benevolence

Description

Universal benevolence is rooted in the knowledge that all the problems of the world - past, present and future - are my problems. Identifying world suffering as my suffering and my suffering as world suffering, one becomes aware of one's self born of humanity and responding to humanity. Knowing the limitations of one's humanness means also knowing its extent. Benevolence realizes there is never an excuse not to act. Thus, caring is unlimited and, in a state of complete selflessness, action takes place in the present moment and no action has a significance which has been pre-determined.
