Anger (Lila)

The ego is confronted with an aspect of the self it has rejected as evil, and the existence of the illusory self with which it identifies is threatened. Although violent anger is destructive, anger expressed through non-violence creates moral strength. It is based on love of truth, is impersonal and assists spiritual growth.
