Allah (Sufism)

The believer is aware of God as Allah. This is the greatest name of God, containing all divine and beautiful attributes; it is a sign of the essence and cause of all existence and can be assumed or shared by no-one. The name contains eight essentials indicating the infinite perfection of Allah and the five qualities showing that Allah resembles nothing else. It contains all attributes of perfection and no faulty attributes. By trying to eliminate what is faulty in himself and increasing what is good, the servant of Allah seeks the wish to become perfect.
