Al-Hafiz (Sufism)

The believer is aware of Allah as the preserver, remembering and protecting. It is He that placed in creatures an instinct for survival, protecting mankind by teaching that what is bad for them is unlawful, sending His prophets and holy scriptures so that they may learn wisdom and the law and be protected from physical or spiritual harm.
