Adhicitta-siksa (Buddhism)

Adhicitta or higher mind is the mind in the state of samadhi. It is the result of the system of mental training, the steady ascent through stages of development until it has raised itself above and remains above the condition where it is a slave to sensory impulses and to emotions.

One component of the trisiksa, the three aspects of training in Buddhist teaching, and indispensable for progress towards liberation.
