Active therapy

Description

By being forced to repeatedly face situations which he fears, an individual gains insight into such situations and learns that there are no insurmountable difficulties. He or she is not called upon to exert willpower or not to feel afraid, this only increases the problem. Simple repetition of an act (or even a thought) which is feared can succeed in eliminating the fear.
