Action irrelevant (ICA)
Description
This is experiencing extremely effective activity as being nothing compared with the demands of history; when one acts without needing to justify the act by its effects and without the need to accomplish. It may be compared to Arjuna being told by Krishna that it is not in aiming to win the war but in the fighting itself that meaning is found.
Context
In the ICA New Religious Mode in the arena of knowing and doing intensified in one's life (life of being) the third formal aspect is the experience of transparent engagement or the experience of levitation. At the first phenomenological level this occurs when a person experiences discontinuity at the centre of his life.
