Acceptance
Description
Through acceptance, without the qualifications of role or principle, a person experiences a different order of communication in comparison to role-governed or principle-governed communication. Thus when a dream is allowed without judgement or analysis, it often stays with a person initially with more power and with a greater tendency to remain. Whatever is present, not conceived, but known and allowed, gives its reality in the openness of the allowance and is in the allowance to some extend affirmed and loved. This unsentimental love appears to be regenerative, although seldom comforting, offering a form of release. It is an awareness that awakens a wide range of affections that are frequent agents for a person's changing his ideas and ways of acting.
