World law

Description

1. World law is a condensed term for both a world authority equipped with legislative bodies for making laws against international violence and the related agencies for enforcing such laws, keeping the peace, and resolving conflicts.

2. A model of world order in which such a system of institutions exists is termed a world law model. The world law model proceeds from the assumption that no political elite would be advised to engage in any kind of disarmament unless there were some assurance of another security system to protect its political independence and its territorial integrity. World law thus links disarmament and a collective security system.
