Ultrastable system
Description
A system (such as a homeostat or a human being) which is capable of resuming a steady state after it has been disturbed. The feedback paths are altered until the system can achieve stable closed loop control and the desired regulation. For example, every living organism keeps the value of certain internal variables within physiological limits despite disturbing external influences.
