Pluridisciplinarity

Juxtaposition of various disciplines, usually at the same hierarchical level (whether empirical or pragmatic), grouped in such a way as to enhance the relationships between them, but without in any way affecting the rigid disciplinary modules. In the successive steps of cooperation and coordination between disciplines, pluridisciplinarity defines an organizational principle for a hierarchical system of one level, having multiple goals, involving cooperation but no coordination. Examples of pluridisciplinary are: mathematics plus physics; or French plus Latin plus Greek.
