Integrational analysis

  • Structural hermeneutics

Description

The discipline of interdisciplinary research. It is based on a generally applicable theory of interpretation (termed structural hermeneutics) which specifies a minimum of seven levels which are intrinsically operative in the perception of any phenomenon in the humanities and social sciences, and in theories of meta-sciences. Because these seven levels cross-out the various disciplines, a phenomenon can be interpreted in an interdisciplinary way. A discipline can be utilized exactly as before but the resulting data can then be located on a specific level of the multilevel analysis. This allows recognition of what a discipline can account for but also what it has excluded from consideration as it sought the rigour and exactitude of its discipline.
