Homeomorphism

Description

1. A one-to-one continuous mapping of one topological space onto another which is also an open mapping. If two spaces are homeomorphic, then they differ only in the nature of their points, and can, from the point of view of topology, be considered essentially identical.

2. Topological equivalence between two geometrical figures in which each can be transformed into the other by a continuous deformation.
