Description

1. An ability to see new relationships, to make or otherwise bring into existence something new (possibly of aesthetic value), to produce new ideas and new solutions to problems, and to deviate from traditional patterns of thinking.

2. The emergence in action of a novel relational product, growing out of the uniqueness of the individual. Creative action achieves increased order or unity in some situations.

3. The disposition to make and to recognize valuable innovations.

4. The production of meaning by synthesis.

5. The capacity to grasp two or more mutually distinct realities and to derive innovation from their juxtaposition.
