Soil-borne diseases in animals

Nature
Animal diseases can develop from sources of infection that are transmitted via the soil. Transmission may occur through the disintegration of infected carcasses. The disease is contracted by the animals grazing close to the ground or during wet seasons when infection may occur through absorption of surface moisture. Soil-borne diseases include anthrax and blackleg.
