Counteracting bullying at schools

Context:
Bullying can take the form of verbal, physical, emotional, or sexual harassment. Examples include persistent name-calling, spreading false rumours, or threats.

Bullying is motivated by a need to feel powerful, not by low self-esteem. Victims of bullying are typically anxious and have low self-esteem.
