Undertaking surveillance of employees

Context:
Technological devices such as video cameras, magnetic badges (follow employer movement), telephone monitors, and autoroute toll payment cards and cameras permit employers to monitor nearly all worker activity on the job.
Implementation:
A recent ILO report, covering 19 countries, found surveillance of employees in industrialized countries increasing. The USA was found to be the prime user of surveillance of employees.
