Arabizing higher education

Participants of a special committee on Arabization of higher education in the Arab world expressed divergent views on the subject. Supporters said that Arabization would retain students who withdraw from higher education to avoid learning English. Those against stated the world market requires knowledge of English to stay up-to-date with the latest scientific developments.
