Providing training on chemical classification and labelling systems

Implementation:
This strategy features in the framework of Agenda 21 as formulated at UNCED (Rio de Janeiro, 1992), now coordinated by the United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development and implemented through national and local authorities.
Claim:
Governments, institutions and non-governmental organizations, with the collaboration of appropriate organizations and programmes of the UN, should launch training courses and information campaigns to facilitate the understanding and use of a new harmonized classification and compatible labelling system for chemicals.
