Twinning wetlands, marshlands and peatlands

Implementation:

A peat bog in the UK was twinned with another one in Japan in 1995. It was the similarity of the two swamps' plights that spurred the final twinning decision. Each is one of the last stretches of native peatland in their respective countries, and provides homes for rare dragonflies, hawks and other creatures.

Claim:

Twinning bogs means saving them for future generations.
