Strategist
Description:
Examines an intended goal and develops a series of actions that will lead to its accomplishment. The strategist identifies the key sub-goals that must be achieved along the way to reaching the final goal so that they may be taken one at a time in the sequence they have chosen. The strategist provides society with an appreciation of the careful consideration that must be given to any complex situation if desired goals are to be achieved. Without strategic thinking, complex affairs can be hopelessly muddled, misunderstanding can develop, and conflicts can result that might otherwise have been avoided. References:
