Violent video games
In 1994 in the UK police seized some 5,000 films showing necrophilia, torture, mutilations, autopsies, bestiality and road accidents. One video game issued in 1993 depicts the winner of a battle ripping his victim's heart out before decapitating him. This game was promoted by a $10 million advertising campaign, whose officials received 70,000 telephone calls from interested consumers.
