Unavailability of trained teachers in rural areas

Nature
Life is more comfortable and easier in the urban areas. The level of development of infrastructure and amenities is far greater in the urban than rural areas especially in developing countries. Those who are educated and are therefore in a position to help often find it difficult to go back to the rural areas to live under conditions where basic facilities for reasonably comfortable living are non-existent or barely minimal. Going to rural areas to teach is even more difficult if teachers have been educated in urban areas. Frequently, the status of a teacher depends on how close to an urban area his school is.
Incidence
In many countries of Africa there are more than 2000 farmers for each agricultural extension worker.
